Frozen Regions

In this lesson, students will learn about the frozen areas of the Earth, and how these ecosystems are in danger of disappearing. The cryosphere includes parts of Earth’s surface that are covered in ice, snow, or are frozen itself. This lesson also emphasizes the role of positive climate feedback loops, which contributes to climate change’s disproportionate impact on the cryosphere.
